Jeongyang SG will participate in GreenEnerTEC 2024, held at Songdo Convensia in Incheon for three days from Wednesday, October 30, to Friday, November 1, where it will showcase its next-generation Structural Thermal Break Insulation System, LBN Modular.

At the exhibition, the company will feature the structural thermal break insulation system developed based on its accumulated expertise in insulation technology. Development began in 2016, and the product became the first in Korea to receive New Excellent Product (NEP) certification from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, designation as an Innovative Product by the Public Procurement Service, and designation as an Excellent Procurement Product in succession, demonstrating its technological excellence and quality. The technology has also been highly recognized for contributing to Korea’s technological self-reliance by localizing thermal break solutions that had previously depended on overseas technologies.

[ Leading Passive Technologies for Zero-Energy Buildings ]

A company representative stated, “Buildings account for approximately 20–30% of global energy consumption, making energy conservation in the building sector a key priority in achieving carbon neutrality. A zero-energy building (ZEB) is designed to balance the energy it consumes with the energy it generates on-site. Passive technologies that minimize heat loss are essential to achieving this goal.”

The representative added, “LBN Modular is a core passive-building solution that minimizes building energy loss by preventing thermal bridging. It can reduce heating and cooling energy consumption by more than 30%. It also helps prevent condensation and mold growth, creating a comfortable and healthy indoor environment and contributing to an improved quality of life.”

[ Proven Applications and Plans for Global Market Expansion ]

Jeongyang SG’s structural thermal break insulation system has already been applied to a range of building projects. LBN Modular is being installed at the zero-energy apartment complex in Block 2 of the Godeok Gangil Public Housing District, a project led by the Seoul Housing & Communities Corporation (SH), contributing to the realization of zero-energy buildings.

The company plans to begin expanding into the European and North American markets in 2025. A company representative stated, “The use of structural thermal break products is mandated in New York and several other U.S. states, while Canada has also established relevant regulations. These developments indicate strong growth potential in overseas markets.”

Since 2023, Jeongyang SG has participated in major domestic exhibitions, including Korea Public Procurement Expo, the Land, Infrastructure and Transport Technology Fair, and construction materials exhibitions. The company will also participate in 2024 KAFF, scheduled to be held at COEX in Seoul in October.

[ A Vision for Sustainable Green Growth ]

A company representative stated, “We will actively promote the technological capabilities of LBN Modular through major exhibitions in Korea and overseas and begin expanding into international markets next year.”

The representative added, “As carbon neutrality has become essential, we will continue our research and development efforts to support the realization of zero-energy buildings. We aim to grow as a thermal break specialist that contributes to local economic development and low-carbon green growth in Korea and worldwide.”
